Terms of Service

1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and OddsFile (company formation pending) ("OddsFile", "we") for the use of oddsfile.com and the OddsFile app (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. What the Service is
OddsFile is software that imports trading activity from prediction markets and related venues, matches it into tax lots, and produces reports, estimates and export files. It is not tax, legal, accounting or investment advice. We do not prepare, sign or file tax returns, and no professional relationship is created. See the Disclaimer.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the accounts, addresses and files you connect, for reviewing every report before relying on it, and for the positions taken on your returns.
- You may connect only accounts you own or are authorized to access (for example as the client's accountant).
- You must use read-only API keys. Never provide keys with trading or withdrawal permissions.
4. Accounts and access
Some features require an account. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly at support@oddsfile.com about any unauthorized use.
5. Payments
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) for the period shown at checkout. Plans are limited by the number of trades in the tax year as described on the pricing page. Sales tax may apply. Unless required by law or stated on the pricing page, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops renewal.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no reverse engineering beyond what law allows, no scraping or overloading our systems or the venues' APIs through us, no unlawful use, and no attempts to access other users' data.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party APIs and blockchains (for example Polymarket, Kalshi and Hyperliquid). We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or changes.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Service and its software. You own your data. You give us a limited license to process your data only to provide the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for taxes, penalties, interest or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect.
